Duties

As a GUI software engineer, you will be responsible for designing, creating, maintaining and optimizing GUI software applications for various solutions using a variety of languages and technologies, including C#, C++, and JavaScript. Software application development includes stand-alone applications, web based applications, and some embedded software applications running on our own custom hardware. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in web user interface software development
  • 5+ years of experience in GUI application software development using C# or C++
  • Strong familiarity of Microsoft’s .NET Framework and WPF
  • Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, Angular, and/or PHP
  • Strong grasp of object-oriented design principles and patterns
  • Proven track record of developing high performance time critical applications
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (oral, written, and presentation) are a must to be a productive member of this development team
  • High energy level, strong team player and good work ethic
  • Ability to prioritize workload with competing priorities and projects
  • Ability to listen and understand complex issues
  • Skilled at debugging and troubleshooting complex software interactions

inMusic Europe Ltd has an exciting new position offering fantastic career development opportunities for a focused, dynamic and highly-professional Product Support Engineer for its contractor audio brands, Denon Professional and Rane Contractor. inMusic comprises a family of 14 high-profile brands, recognised as industry leaders within the Pro-Audio, Music Technology and Consumer Electronics sectors. The Product Support Engineer position will report directly to inMusic’s Channel Marketing Manager, working alongside the Aftersales Support Team, spearheading all technical training and critical frontline support services to end users, sales teams, export customers and dealers.

The successful candidate will join the Denon Professional and Rane Contractor European Sales team at an exciting point, helping to promote growth within this critical market segment. A thorough understanding of Installation and contractor market segments alongside a seasoned technical vocabulary is crucially required to provide essential market insight to the Channel Manager and global product management teams.

The Product Support Engineer, through his/her involvement with project design/planning/execution, product demonstrations/presentations, commissioning and problem solving will enhance the efforts of the sales team and improve the strategic positioning of Denon Professional and Rane Contractor in the broader pro-audio market.

It is fundamental to the role that the successful applicant becomes a trusted, reliable member of the team both to their internal peers, stakeholders and inMusic’s diverse customer base. Crucial to this role role is proactive positive promotion of the company and its product portfolio, identifying fruitful sales opportunities and working alongside the sales team to secure growth.

Due to inMusic’s positioning as a global leader and the varied nature of its export business, international travel will be required, although the role will be predominantly based in inMusic’s Ash Vale office.

Product Specialist / Trainer (MI / DJ sector) APAC

The product specialist will be responsible for creating, delivering and maintaining a full training program across inMusic MI and DJ brands. You will drive product awareness across our dealer, distributor and end user networks through visits and regular product clinics in Asia, Australia and New Zealand. You must possess strong written and verbal fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese. The successful candidate will be the vital link that connects product features and benefits with our network of customers. You will have an in depth knowledge of the ranges we offer and have a positive understanding of the overall DJ & MI market. You will be self motivated and determined to achieve challenging goals and objectives. You should have a vision, alongside the ability to create exciting training programmes that deliver product specific messaging to both experienced and first time users. You will have the natural skills to manage your time and work within the company expectations, whilst delivering the company message at all times.
